Hire a Silent Disco for Your Christmas Party

This is your own silent disco for your own Christmas party, not a ticketed night out. Delivered to your door, wherever you’re celebrating, at home, in the office, or somewhere you’ve hired for the night.

A room full of people singing along and dancing while it looks completely silent from the doorway never gets old. Nobody argues over the playlist either, because three channels run at once and everyone picks their own. No ticket, no venue to book, just your own silent disco Christmas party, run by you.

Why a Silent Disco Works So Well for Christmas

Three channels running at once means the person who wants Christmas songs and the person who wants to dance to Beyoncé can both get their way. A structure that works well for Christmas:

Channel 1 – Christmas Classics: Mariah Carey, Wham!, Slade, Michael Bublé, the ones everyone sings along to.

Channel 2 – Party Anthems: current chart hits and feel-good pop to keep the energy up between the festive tracks.

Channel 3 – Throwback Disco: 80s, 90s and 2000s favourites for a properly mixed-age crowd.

Every hire includes 70+ free curated Spotify playlists, so you can plug straight into a ready-made Christmas mix or build your own from scratch. There are no speakers involved either, which keeps things simple wherever you’re hosting: no upset neighbours, no PA system to set up, no trailing wires to deal with in a living room, a hired hall or a small office.

Ideas for Different Kinds of Christmas Party

A silent disco party works for pretty much any occasion this time of year.

Office parties get a genuine step up from the usual work do with this, and it works in almost any venue, including ones with strict volume limits. If you’re planning something for a team, our silent disco hire page covers team socials and away-days too.

Family gatherings on Christmas Eve or Boxing Day are a good fit as well, particularly when everyone’s under one roof and wants something different playing. For a night in with friends, a garden, garage or living room strung with lights is enough to turn it into a proper party.

Schools tend to hire us for Christmas discos and end-of-term parties too. There’s a dedicated schools page with more on how that works.

New Year’s Eve is its own thing entirely for us, one of the busiest dates in the calendar. Three channels keep people dancing right up to midnight, then it’s headphones off for the countdown.

Decor and Atmosphere Tips

Fairy lights and a disco ball will transform most rooms in a few minutes. The LED headphones already glow in the dark, so dimming the lights does a fair bit of the work for you. Christmas jumpers paired with glow-in-the-dark headphones tend to make for good photos, and a smoke machine (available as a lighting add-on) adds atmosphere to pretty much any indoor space.

A Hire Kit, Not a Ticket

Every Christmas silent disco booking includes:

  • Enough LED headphones for your group
  • Up to three transmitters for three simultaneous music channels
  • All required cables and adapters
  • Full setup instructions
  • Free UK delivery and courier collection after your event
  • Access to 70+ curated Spotify playlists, Christmas mixes included

Pricing is per kit, not per person, so the cost per head drops the bigger the group gets, from a small family gathering right up to a large office party.

What You Need to Run a Christmas Silent Disco

  • A room or space, home, office, hall or garden all work
  • A phone, laptop or tablet to plug into the transmitter
  • Your Christmas playlist, or one of ours
  • About 10 minutes to get set up

That covers it. Nothing else to hire or bring in. Full step-by-step instructions are on our setup guide if you want to see exactly how it works before your party.

Book Early for December and New Year’s Eve

December dates fill up fast, especially weekends, and New Year’s Eve books out earlier still. If you’ve got anything planned for the 31st, get your silent disco hire quote in well before December rather than leaving it late.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we mix Christmas songs with regular party music?

That’s exactly what the three channels are for. Put Christmas classics on one, current hits or throwback anthems on the others, and guests pick whatever they’re in the mood for.

Is a silent disco suitable for a family Christmas party with kids and adults together?

It works well for this. Volume is controlled individually on each headset, so grandparents and kids can both set their own level, and you can put age-appropriate music on whichever channel suits.

How far in advance should we book for Christmas?

December is one of our busiest months, and the popular dates, particularly the two weekends before Christmas, tend to book up well ahead of time. Earlier is better if you’ve got a date in mind.

Do you deliver over the Christmas period?

Equipment is delivered via DPD with live tracking in the days before your event, same as any other booking, with collection the working day after.

Can we hire for New Year’s Eve too?

Plenty of people do, and it’s a night we get booked out for early. Same kit, same setup, and it works nicely for a midnight countdown with headphones off right as the clock strikes twelve.
