Hidden Extras Worth Checking
When comparing silent disco quotes, make sure you check whether these are included or charged on top:
Some quotes show ex-VAT prices. Adding 20% can turn a £125 quote into £150.
Delivery and return collection fees of £15–£25+ are common.
Deposits of £60–£750 are common and tie up your money until equipment is returned.
Some suppliers charge £20+ for extra or third transmitters, and more again for phone adapter cables - all on top of the hire price.
Check if they're LED 3-channel or basic single-channel models.
Not all suppliers include ready-made playlists - you may need to sort your own music.
Most headphone-only suppliers don't offer add-ons to enhance your event. You may need to book extras separately elsewhere.

The biggest factor. More headphones = higher price, but cost per headphone drops significantly. At 5 headphones it's £20 each; at 100 it's just £2.50 each.
📦 Delivery & Collection
Some suppliers charge £20+ for delivery. With us, free DPD delivery and return collection is included in every price - anywhere on the UK mainland.
🎛️ Dry Hire vs DJ Package
Dry hire (equipment only, you supply music) is the most affordable. DJ packages include a professional DJ and cost more but handle everything for you.
🛡️ Deposits & Hidden Costs
Many competitors charge refundable deposits of £60–£750, tying up your money. We charge no deposit for most hires - the hire price covers everything including VAT. For larger private hires (70+ headphones), a refundable equipment deposit may apply.
